I’ve always loved my curly hair but never felt like I was in control. I’d have random perfect curl days but couldn’t ever count on being able to wear it naturally. I first started going to Brooklyn 7 years ago. Before going my hair was not curly, just frizzy. She walked me through how to do my hair, and products I could use that were in my college student budget. My hair transformed and since then, I’ve only ever gone to Brooklyn to get my hair cut, I trust nobody else! I’ve even driven 5 hours for a haircut from her! And I tell everyone that asks about my hair (it’s a curly girl thing I swear) about Brooklyns Curl Suite, from people in the grocery store, to on hikes, to work. Brooklyn is kind, very funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. I look forward to getting to see her, she is not only an amazing stylist but an amazing human! Brooklyn suggests products that not only fit your needs but also your budget. At that first appointment I let Brooklyn cut all of my dead ends off which left my hair extremely short. I could just barely tie it back. I hated my hair in that moment but I trusted the process. At the first appointment I was educated on different styling techniques to achieve my desired look. Each time I’ve returned to Brooklyn my hair has continued to improve. My hair is in the best condition it’s been! My dead ends are minimal and my hair length is slightly past my shoulders! Brooklyn has been supportive outside of the salon as well. I feel comfortable sending her a quick message whenever I have a question. I enjoy my appointments with Brooklyn because of her fun personality, knowledge, and skills.
